Hey there all :wave:

I thought that it would be a good time to write a new journal entry as it's been a whole year since I did so for the last time. In the beginning I have to say it in words which you may have noticed even without saying it: I've posted much more photos now than before. For some reason I've managed to get more successful photos than I did like few years ago. Of course I get sometimes blurry and bad photos in some other way but they have became much more unusual nowadays. I think it has something to do with better optics and maybe even better camera body (I now use 40D as I used 300D before it). It's also possible that I've learned something, but I'm not too sure about that...

You may also have noticed that I've been taking just nature photos lately. I've always been interested in nature and I think it's a natural transition as I have now managed to arrange some more time to dwell in the nature with my camera equipments.

It's almost summer now and let's enjoy about the warmth and awaken nature :sun:

thanks for the honest comments, a comment is more helpful then a :+fav:. I like the results of highISOs.

And I'll try to catch other birds in flight. But I'll take 1/2000s next time, maybe I can freeze the wings. :D

Thank you so much for all your detailed comments on some of the photo in my gallery.I've left a journal entry on my page tody to apologise for not replying!I've only just discovered them!!I'm still finding my way around DA and I haven't found it easy.

You have some absolutely lovely photographs in your gallery!

I've seen plenty of nature photos, but yours are the best I've seen yet.

Thanks for the compliment, it wasn't easy, because the weather was bad and it's not so easy to expose the black feathering, so I had to overexposure a bit.

Your gallery is great, I love the shots of the willow warbler! My shot of a reed warbler is not perfect, I'll take some photos when the weather becomes better.

Nyt oli muutes kalasääksien poikaset kuoriutunu.. Pesästä kuulu piipitystä, mutta ei vielä näkyny mitään.. Ens viikon puolivälin tienoolla pitää mennä kyttäämään, että josko ne poikaset rupeaa päitään nostelemaan pesän reunojen yli.. Ei muutes ole rengastettu vielä kumpaakaan noista kalasääksistä, huomasin, ku tsiigailin noita uusimpia otoksia.. :)
