I took a phototrip with a mate of mine. We saw for example this Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus, Pajulintu / Uunilintu) showing it's singing style. It's the most common bird in the whole Finland but it's not widely known because it prefers to stay in the hide.
Fullview is highly recommended.

Yeah, I also agree about the colors. Maybe those are quite well fitting with not so colorful bird. I don't usually center the main subjects but in this one I wanted to use it. Thanks for commenting.

I took different kinds of photos of this bird but this is maybe my favourite because of the background. Guess it fits well with that bird which isn't so colorful itself. Thank you for commenting.

Great portrait and behaviour shot, lovely colours too. What I don't like that much is that the background is a bit too busy (for my liking, at least). You know, it has this green area at the top, followed by a brown one, then grey, then brown again and this draws away some attention from the bird. But I guess that's very much a matter of personal preference - there's no right or wrong about that.
Yes, there's also blue area in the background. I agree with you but at the same time I'm not. Living here in Finland we have a very long winter with just few colours. It has been pretty dull to take pictures which all has gray backgrounds. As now it's finally summer I think it's good to have atleast some color in the backgrounds. Yes, it's a matter of personal preferences. But it's also a good point. Thanks for commenting.

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
